About Lisa Lorenz

Lisa Lorenz Lisa (Lariviere), Lorenz was born in Montreal, Canada. She studied graphic design and advertising at Concordia University and has been living abroad for over 15 years. She has lived in Basel, Switzerland, Seoul, Korea, Copenhagen, and South Africa. She has traveled extensively and many of her paintings are often based on her travels. Painting her impressions is her way of remembering and sharing such colorful memories.

Lisa uses a radiant palette to create her colourful and stylized paintings. Her work is characterized by joyful compositions, exaggerated perspectives and her strikingly effective use of colours, form and pattern. You will also discover the interesting use of the "cloisonnism" technique in her compositions where she outlines her shapes and design with a bold contour emphasizing her artwork.
